Transcodegasa, S.L. was set up in 2002 by people who used to work at another company within the sector.

At first, the company had ten refrigerated trucks. Two years later, five more new units were added to the fleet. More units were acquired over subsequent years and the company now has 21 refrigerated trailers.

The business started in a small office on Avenida García Barbón de Vigo, which is also where the company’s registered corporate and tax offices were, and the trucks were parked on land that was acquired along the N-550 motorway in the municipality of Mos.

Later on, the company’s entire business, including the offices and truck parking facilities, was relocated to an industrial unit on the Ponteareas N-120 motorway. In 2016, Transcodegasa moved its registered corporate and legal offices to the facilities it still uses today, which are located on the Porriño to Redondela motorway in the municipality of Mos. These facilities house the company’s offices, industrial unit and parking area for the trucks.
